Commerce ISD is seeking a passionate, energetic, and student-centered educator to serve as the Head Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Commerce High School. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing successful student-athletes through character, discipline, relationships, and competitive excellence.
Teaching field preferred: History, Math, or CTE certification
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of the girls basketball program grades 7–12
Coordinate and implement daily practice plans, skill development, scouting, and game preparation
Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and community members
Assist with offseason strength and conditioning programs
Support athletic department operations and expectations
