Head Baseball / Asst TBD - PE Primary Purpose Provide leadership, organization, and instruction for the Hemphill High School baseball program. Develop student-athletes academically, athletically, and personally while promoting sportsmanship, character, discipline, and a culture of excellence. Coordinate all aspects of the baseball program from junior varsity through varsity levels to ensure long-term program success. Reports To Athletic Director / Campus Principal. Develop student-athletes academically, athletically, and personally while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and excellence. Coordinate all levels of the volleyball program to create a consistent vision and competitive culture from junior high through varsity. Reports To Athletic Director and Campus Principal Qualifications Valid Texas Teaching Certificate Valid CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred Knowledge of UIL rules and regulations Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members

Teacher Responsibilities:   Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodation for individual student differences. Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, campus policies, and administrative regulations. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the needs and capabilities of the student groups involved. Cooperate with other members of the staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods in accordance with district requirements. Plan and supervise purposeful assignments for teacher aide(s) and/or volunteer(s). Employ the use of technologies in the teaching/learning process.
