Somerville High School is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic coach to help grow Yegua Athletics while serving as the Head Basketball Coach and an Asst. Football Coach. At this time the teaching field would depend on the applicant. Somerville ISD has passed a $42M bond with plans for new athletic facilities (Turf Football Field / Field House and Renovated Gymnasium. Estimated date back in the gym: November 2026).  Somerville Independent School District is a rural, 2A school district located 30 miles southwest of College Station and 3 minutes from Lake Somerville, in beautiful Burleson County. We have approximately 540 students in our district which offers small class sizes. We are in search of a coach on the boys side.  Sports will be assistant football (best fit) and a spring sport.  Possibility of a 3rd sport can be discussed during interviews.  This position could also be Head Golf to the right candidate. Teaching field is Health & Elective classes.  A CDL or the ability to obtain is required. We are looking for a certified PE teacher to coach 3 sports that will be a combination of junior high and high school sports. CDL preferred. 

We are in search of an assistant coach for our Volleyball & Girls Basketball programs.  Third sport can be discussed with the possibility of Head Golf for the right candidate. Teaching field is Elementary PE.  We are a District of Innovation (DOI) so we can work with various situations to get you hired. CDL or ability to obtain is required.
