We are starting a wrestling program for boys and girls starting the 2026 school year. We are looking for someone with experience in wrestling that can help kick off the program. Valley View is a small 3A school located 20 miles north of Denton on I-35. We offer a rural community with great kids and community but easy access to the metroplex. We are in year 1 of a rebuild but have made great strides this year and look to really gain momentum next year. We offer a very competitive salary, 11 month contract, stipend per sport, CDL stipend and Thanksgiving retention bonus.  Also, have the ability to gain another stipend as strength and conditioning coordinator for the right candidate. Teaching field is SPED, JH Social Studies or a computer monitoring class.

The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN.
