Primary Purpose of Position: The Head Volleyball Coach will lead and manage the volleyball program at the high school level and support vertical alignment within the athletic cluster. Under the direction of the Athletic Coordinator, Campus Principal, and Executive Director of Athletics, the coach is responsible for developing student-athletes, maintaining a comprehensive and competitive volleyball program, and fulfilling all campus and district expectations as a classroom teacher.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide high quality instruction in the assigned teaching content area. Implement effective instructional strategies aligned with NEISD curriculum and standards. Coordinate all aspects of the girls’ soccer program in grades 9-12. Offensive position will be based on comfort, experience, and fit of the applicant offensively. Offensive Line, Running Backs, or WR are among the options. At this time, the teaching field is OPEN (Core & SPED anticipated), but no Health / PE. Candidate must be able to build meaningful relationships with the people around them and be passionate about growing and developing young people. Experience coaching and developing athletes in a spread offense is preferred, but not required. A detailed plan in how you develop your positions will be discussed in the interview process.
