Tyler Independent School District is seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Girls Basketball & Track Coach to join the athletic program at Tyler High School . This individual will assist in building a competitive Girls Basketball & Track program while supporting the academic and personal development of student-athletes. The teaching assignment is Physical Education.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Girls Basketball Coach in all aspects of the program (7th–12th grade alignment preferred)
Help plan, organize, and conduct practices, games, and offseason programs
Support strength and conditioning initiatives in coordination with athletic staff
Promote athlete development, sportsmanship, and UIL compliance
Assist with scouting, film breakdown, and game preparation
Maintain positive relationships with athletes, parents, staff, and community
