The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. No PE and No Health

Special Teams Coordinator, could be a Co-OC or Co-DC title for the right candidate.  Position group and 2nd sports are flexible.  Recruiting/Social Media Coordinator is also a possibility (stipend available). Elgin High School is looking to hire an energetic and knowledgeable Head Softball Coach to join our team.  Second sport optional.  Three to five years of high school and/or college softball experience preferred. Elgin ISD has committed to supporting our athletic programs with a brand new indoor facility, as well as brand new turfed fields for baseball and softball.   Teaching field is open, no PE.  CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred.
