The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. We are in search of a JH Girls Coach and Secondary Social Studies Teacher.  Coaching assignments are currently JH Volleyball, JH Girls Basketball, & JH Softball.  Social Studies 7-12 and/or History 7-12 certifications are required.  We have several options for which social studies classes could be available. A valid Texas teaching certification or enrollment in an alternative certification program are required.  We are a district of innovation so we can work with you.  A CDL or the ability to obtain as soon as possible is required.
