Look for a dynamic, student centered coach to take our program to the next level.  Our girls athletic participation numbers are growing and we are experiencing tremendous growth in our district.   Need someone who is a kid magnetic and willing to put in the time needed to grow the program.   We have tremendous support from the school and admin and need the right person dedicated to taking over a program that has had a history of success. Teaching field is open.

Pay Grade: Teacher Pay Scale + Coaching Stipend(s)   Primary Purpose: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in assigned sport(s). VISD is looking for  an Assistant girls basketball coach  to join our athletic staff. The second sport will be  best fit , depending on the candidate’s experience and best fit for our programs.
