Essential Duties and Responsibilities Player Development Assist in planning and implementing game strategies and practice plans. Analyze game film to improve player and team performance. Monitor student-athlete academic progress, behavior, and eligibility. Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and character development. Supervise athletes during practices, games, workouts, travel, and team events. Collaborate with the Head Coach and scouting reports and opponent preparation. The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.
