Position Summary Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.   Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or associates degree and equivalent wage-earning experience as required by certification. Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned. Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Sunnyvale Independent School District is seeking a Head Softball Coach to lead and build our girls softball program. Sunnyvale is committed to excellence across all girls athletics and continues to invest heavily in our facilities and student-athletes. We have recently completed brand-new turf outfields for softball and baseball, are building a new indoor facility, adding 5 new girls locker rooms, plus a new storage building and bullpen area for softball development. Our girls programs are highly competitive across the board: Cross Country sends girls to State every year. Volleyball has reached Round 3 the past two seasons. Girls Basketball is consistently a Top 10 program.
