Somerville High School is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic coach to help grow Yegua Athletics while serving as a Female Assistant Coach for 2 sports (Possibly Head Tennis). The teaching field is Special Education at the High School. In search of a Head Girls Basketball Coach who will manage and implement all aspects of the girls basketball program in grades 7-12.  The girls are back-to-back Regional Finalists with a majority of the team returning.  Will also be Assistant Volleyball.  Third sport could be discussed when interviewing. Teaching fields possible are 7-12 Math, Elementary P.E., or Secondary Health/PE. Must have a valid Texas Teaching Certificate or be in an Alternative Certification Program.  We are a District of Innovation so we have some options to work with you on the teaching field.  Must also have a CDL or the ability to obtain as soon as possible. Looking for football coaches on both the defensive and offensive side of the ball.   Teaching fields are STEM PE, CTE, Science.  Other fields might come open later this month.
