Fort Bend Elkins HS is looking for a Varsity Assistant Baseball Coach. At this time, the teaching field is OPEN (Anticipated Core & SPED) NO HEALTH / PE. Candidate must be able to build meaningful relationships with the people around them and be passionate about growing and developing young people. Primary Purpose: Assist with the overall athletic program for assigned High School and Junior High School. Work to provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements. Qualifications: Education/Certification: • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university • Valid Texas Teaching Certificate • Current first aid, automated external defibrillator (AED), and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate • Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or be able to obtain in the first year.
