The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. In search of a Head Girls Basketball Coach who will manage and implement all aspects of the girls basketball program in grades 7-12.  The girls are back-to-back Regional Finalists with a majority of the team returning.  Will also be Assistant Volleyball.  Third sport could be discussed when interviewing. Teaching fields possible are 7-12 Math, Elementary P.E., or Secondary Health/PE. Must have a valid Texas Teaching Certificate or be in an Alternative Certification Program.  We are a District of Innovation so we have some options to work with you on the teaching field.  Must also have a CDL or the ability to obtain as soon as possible.
