Lamesa ISD is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Athletic Trainer to support our athletic programs. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and performance of our student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prevent, evaluate, and treat athletic injuries
Provide coverage for practices and competitions
Develop and oversee rehabilitation programs
Collaborate with coaches, parents, and medical professionals
Maintain injury records and ensure compliance with UIL and district guidelines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master’s preferred)
BOC Certification and Texas licensure required
CPR/AED certification
Schedule: Includes evenings, weekends, and travel with athletic teams
