Offensive position will be based on comfort, experience, and fit of the applicant offensively. Offensive Line, Running Backs, or WR are among the options. At this time, the teaching field is OPEN (Core & SPED anticipated), but no Health / PE. Candidate must be able to build meaningful relationships with the people around them and be passionate about growing and developing young people. Experience coaching and developing athletes in a spread offense is preferred, but not required. A detailed plan in how you develop your positions will be discussed in the interview process. Abilene High is seeking an Offensive Coordinator to lead and develop our offensive program.  Previous experience as an offensive coordinator, co-coordinator, or head coach is preferred but not required for the right candidate.  Offense will return experienced QB and WRs.  Three time district champions. Looking for an innovative, organized, and relational leader who values collaboration and program development. Primary Responsibilities and Expectations: Quarterback development, skill position development, offensive installation & practice planning, opponent scouting & game planning.
