Grand Saline ISD is seeking a passionate teacher–coach to lead our Middle School Boys Track program, coach Middle School Football, and potentially coach Basketball. The successful candidate will provide quality classroom instruction (4–8 Generalist or Science) while developing student‑athletes of strong character who compete with discipline and integrity.
Primary Teaching Responsibilities
Teach 4–8 Generalist or Science (final assignment based on certification and campus needs)
Develop and deliver engaging, TEKS‑aligned lesson plans
Use a variety of instructional strategies to reach diverse learners
Maintain effective classroom management and positive learning environment
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback and grades
Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and administrators to support student success
Communicate consistently with parents/guardians about academic and behavior expectations
