The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.

We are in search of a coach who is certified in 6-12 Social Studies or History.  Coaching position will be the best fit based on the candidates strengths & our needs.  This could be a boys or a girls coaching position.  This position could be Head Golf for the right candidate. Standard Flatonia ISD Pay Scale + Stipends per sport + CDL stipend + Summer workouts stipend. Valid Texas Teaching Certificate & a CDL or the ability to obtain are required.
