Responsible for the instructional program and guidance of students identified as needing special education services and Coaching. Extensive knowledge of disabling conditions and their impact on student performance. Excellent knowledge of instructional/behavioral accommodations and interventions for students with disabilities. Proficient in developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans for students with moderate to severe behavior concerns. Proficient in collecting data to establish strengths, needs, and goals for specially designed instruction, as well as progress monitoring. Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in the effective use of technology. Physical capacity to meet needs of students with physical disabilities. Ability to work effectively with both adults and children. Knowledge of Sport(s)

Primary Purpose: Assist with the overall athletic program for assigned High School and Junior High School. Work to provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements. Qualifications: Education/Certification: • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university • Valid Texas Teaching Certificate • Current first aid, automated external defibrillator (AED), and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate • Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements or be able to obtain in the first year.
