Weatherford High School is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Head Wrestling Coach to lead and develop both the boys and girls wrestling programs. The teaching field is open, with multiple teaching options available. This position is a 202-day contract and requires a CDL or a willingness to obtain a CDL within the first year of employment. The Head Wrestling Coach will be responsible for all aspects of the wrestling program, including building a positive and competitive culture, organizing practices and competitions, promoting academic success and sportsmanship, communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and administration, and ensuring compliance with district and UIL policies. Previous coaching experience and strong leadership and organizational skills are preferred. We are starting a wrestling program for boys and girls starting the 2026 school year. We are looking for someone with experience in wrestling that can help kick off the program. Valley View is a small 3A school located 20 miles north of Denton on I-35. We offer a rural community with great kids and community but easy access to the metroplex. We are in year 1 of a rebuild but have made great strides this year and look to really gain momentum next year.
