Head Wrestling Assistant Football Teacher / Coach

Overall Wrestling Program grades 9-12. Must have a great off-season program including strength and conditioning. Highly effective classroom teacher. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Looking for an energetic, highly motivated, trustworthy, hardworking and loyal individual who can be a positive influence for a diverse student population. Football Position is Best Fit Offense or Defense. Ideally we would like a Defensive Assistant that we could groom into a coordinator one day, but we are looking for a best fit ball coach.  Teaching Field: OPEN. No PE and No Health JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valid Texas Teacher Certification Required.  Activity Bus Certified or CDL. Must be knowledgeable of all U.I.L. Rules and Regulations. The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN.
