Position Overview The Head Volleyball Coach will be responsible for the overall leadership, organization, and success of the volleyball program in grades 7–12 . This position requires a collaborative leader who can mentor assistant coaches, foster a positive team culture, and ensure compliance with all district, UIL, and board policies. Primary Responsibilities Provide leadership and vision for the entire volleyball program, grades 7–12 Build and maintain a vertically aligned program from youth development through Varsity Plan, organize, and direct all volleyball practices, competitions, and offseason programs Oversee, mentor, and evaluate assistant volleyball coaches at all levels Promote a positive, inclusive, and competitive culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, character, and academic success Ensure compliance with UIL rules and regulations and all Castleberry ISD Board policies Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, administrators, staff,...

Responsible for all aspects of the program, including developing training and game plans, managing assistant coaches, and ensuring student athletes are eligible and adhere to school and UIL rules . Key duties include coordinating practices and games, teaching skills and strategy, promoting sportsmanship, and maintaining communication with students, parents, and the school administration. The coach must also manage the budget and care for equipment and facilities.  

We are seeking a few high-energy, competitive, and driven coaches to join our athletic program.  We are looking for those with volleyball knowledge, and that are passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court and leading by example—modeling The Texas Way in every aspect of their coaching.
