The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. No PE and No Health

We are looking for an assistant boys coach to help with football, basketball and track, possible baseball. Valley View offers a very competitive salary, stipends per sport, stipend for CDL and retention bonus paid at Thanksgiving. Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for assistant coaches on both sides of the football (QB or best fit; DL or DB) Varsity QB (possible pass game coordinator) - Prefer a coach with some coaching experience and at the very least, played QB at the college level. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades. If called for an interview, the expectation is to have plans in place to develop QBs at each level.
