The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for an energetic and knowledgeable QB coach and Pass Game Coordinator. Prefer a coach with some QB coaching experience or, at the very least, played QB at the college or high school level. Please apply also if you have a Pass Game Coordinator experience, even if you have not coached QBs. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades.
