Position Summary
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or associates degree and equivalent wage-earning experience as required by certification.
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the candidate.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
ESL certification (candidates who do not already have this certification are required to obtain it during their first year of employment)....
