The Junior High Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in planning, organizing, and executing practices and competitions across one or more sports offered through the junior high athletic program. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about youth development, enjoy working with middle school-aged athletes, and are eager to contribute to a well-rounded athletic program. Runge is looking for an assistant coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Offensive Line experience preferred. Football went 8-3 with the schools first District Title in 30 years. We are only losing one 2-way starter from last year’s team. We have also dropped to Div 2. Other accolades: Volleyball District Champs, Girls Golf District Champs, Boys Track District Champs, Baseball and Softball District Champs. Regional Qualifiers in Cross Country, Powerlifting, Boys Golf, Track. State Qualifier in Girls Track. Teaching field is open. Head coaching opportunities for winter/springs are available as well. We are looking for the best possible fit. Must be certified or in an alternative certification class. CDL or willingness to obtain preferred.
