Somerville High School is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic coach to help grow Yegua Athletics while serving as a Female Assistant Coach for 2 sports (Possibly Head Tennis). The teaching field is Special Education at the High School. The applicant would have a case load.
Somerville ISD has passed a $42M bond with plans for new athletic facilities (Renovated Gymnasium / New Baseball and Softball Complex). Estimated date back in the gym: Thanksgiving 2026).
Somerville Independent School District is a rural, 2A school district located 30 miles southwest of College Station and 3 minutes from Lake Somerville, in beautiful Burleson County. We have approximately 540 students in our district which offers small class sizes. We are currently a two campus district: Elementary / Intermediate (K-7) and a High School (8-12) with High School athletics in the middle of the day and Junior High athletics at the end of the day.
