Sunnyvale Independent School District is seeking a Head Softball Coach to lead and build our girls softball program. Sunnyvale is committed to excellence across all girls athletics and continues to invest heavily in our facilities and student-athletes. We have recently completed brand-new turf outfields for softball and baseball, are building a new indoor facility, adding 5 new girls locker rooms, plus a new storage building and bullpen area for softball development. Our girls programs are highly competitive across the board: Cross Country sends girls to State every year. Volleyball has reached Round 3 the past two seasons. Girls Basketball is consistently a Top 10 program. Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for an energetic and knowledgeable QB coach. Prefer a coach with some coaching experience and at the very least, played QB at the college level. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades. If called for an interview, the expectation is to have plans in place to develop QBs at each level. Another expectation is spring QB school/clinic for all program QBs.
