Head softball coach with second sport responsibility depending on the person. We return every starter. Our team had 4 freshman, 2 sophomores and 3 juniors that started. 3 freshman pitchers pitched the majority of the innings. We finished tied for 4th in a pretty competitive district. We have a handful of girls that really want to play Collegiate softball and one junior verbal commit. Softball daily schedule gets the girls to softball practice as early in the afternoon as possible. All of our kids in Valley View run track. Track workouts are at 7am so we can get the girls to the field after school as opposed to having them run 8th period during girls athletics. Valley View is a growing district right on I-35 north of Denton. The foundation is being set to be competitive in every sport. We pay stipends per sport and a stipend for CDL.
