The Football Defensive Assistant supports the head coach and defensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a 4-2-5 Defense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.

Responsibilities: Coach Seconday, focusing on technique and strategy. Collaborate with the defensive coordinator to implement game plans. Develop and maintain a positive team culture that fosters student-athlete growth. Engage with students in a way that encourages their participation and enthusiasm.
