Plainview High School (in the Texas Panhandle) has just dropped from 5A to 4A. We are in a 4 team district this new realignment. Looking for assistant coaches on both sides of the football (QB or best fit; DL or DB) Varsity QB (possible pass game coordinator) - Prefer a coach with some coaching experience and at the very least, played QB at the college level. The QB coach is responsible for developing QBs from the 7th - 12th grades. If called for an interview, the expectation is to have plans in place to develop QBs at each level. Another expectation is spring QB school/clinic for all program QBs. We run a multiple spread offense out of multiple personnel groups with zone and gap scheme runs, RPOs for those runs, screens, quick game, sprint out, and drop back. Graduating QB threw for nearly 3,000 yards just in the regular season. Refugio ISD is searching for a Varsity Football Coach/plus 2nd sport.  Specific football coaching duties are flexible and will be based on best fit.  Teaching certifications needed in order of preference: Science, Math, English, Social Studies.  Teaching salary plus very competitive coaching stipend plus 20 days.

Coordinate the program 7th grade thru 12th grade with total control of the scheme.  Performance Coordinator is much like an associate head with responsibilities being the student athlete performance in the class room as well as tracking the weight room progress, and recruiting.  Head Powerlifting responsibility for the boys side , as well as head track coach for the boys side.  Alba Golden is a 4 day a week school with Fridays off.  We work 1 Friday a month This is a great opportunity to gain build a strong defense with some admin responsibilities.
