Runge is looking for an assistant coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Offensive Line experience preferred. Football went 8-3 with the schools first District Title in 30 years. We are only losing one 2-way starter from last year’s team. We have also dropped to Div 2. Other accolades: Volleyball District Champs, Girls Golf District Champs, Boys Track District Champs, Baseball and Softball District Champs. Regional Qualifiers in Cross Country, Powerlifting, Boys Golf, Track. State Qualifier in Girls Track. Teaching field is open. Head coaching opportunities for winter/springs are available as well. We are looking for the best possible fit. Must be certified or in an alternative certification class. CDL or willingness to obtain preferred. Daingerfield is a DOI.  The Varsity Offensive Line Coach is responsible for developing and coaching student-athletes in all aspects of offensive line play, while supporting the overall goals of and philosophy of the football program. The coach will instruct proper techniques, promote discipline and accountability, assist the game planning, and help to build a competitive and positive team culture.  This person must be able to plan and implement a sound public school instructional program.  Must also communicate effectively with students, coworkers and patrons.  This person must keep informed of and comply with state, district, school, and UIL policies and regulations concerning primary job functions. + 15 days on contract and all associated stipends.  Contribution toward insurance from the school.
