We are starting a wrestling program for boys and girls starting the 2026 school year. We are looking for someone with experience in wrestling that can help kick off the program. Valley View is a small 3A school located 20 miles north of Denton on I-35. We offer a rural community with great kids and community but easy access to the metroplex. We are in year 1 of a rebuild but have made great strides this year and look to really gain momentum next year. We offer a very competitive salary, 11 month contract, stipend per sport, CDL stipend and Thanksgiving retention bonus.  Also, have the ability to gain another stipend as strength and conditioning coordinator for the right canidate.

Major Responsibilities and Duties :   1.      Assist the Athletic Director in coordinating the competitive sports program at the assigned high school. 2.      Support all phases of the athletic program and encourage athletes to participate in every sport in which they have talent and interest. 3.      Be responsible for ensuring that all rules, regulations, guidelines, and policies of TEA, UIL, and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD are followed at his/her campus. 4.      Assist the athletic department, Human Resources department, and principal in recruiting and interviewing coaching personnel and follow required district personnel procedures to fill vacancies on the coaching staff at the high school. 5.      Evaluate head coaches in each sport, athletic trainers, and all assistant football coaches and approve the evaluations of all other assistant coaches by their head coach and ensure that the evaluation process is conducted according to C-FB ISD...

ASSISTANT COACHES – JUNIOR HIGHS A.      Reports to Athletic Director, Junior high Athletic Coordinator and Campus Principal. B.      General Junior high Assistant Coaches are responsible for overseeing and managing all duties specific to this position in addition to duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
