The Football Offensive Assistant supports the head coach and offensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: OPEN. We have a Assistant Football (6 man), Assistant basketball, and Track position open.  District pays $4,000 over state base, $11,000 in stipends, and if you are TRA eligible $4,000 (3-4 years experience) or $8,000 for (5+ years experience).  If you have 5+ experience you could get paid $23,000 over state base on the TEA minimum salary schedule.  We are also a TIA district.
