Head Boy's basketball-everything else is negotiable for coaching duties and slighlty flexible on teaching field but must be certified.  

Bonham ISD is a TIA district. Assist the head coaches in developing student-athletes both on and off the field/court through instruction, mentorship, and leadership. Responsibilities include coaching position-specific skills for wide receivers, assisting with practice planning and game preparation, supervising athletes, promoting academic success and character development, maintaining equipment and facilities, and supporting all aspects of the football, basketball, and baseball programs. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a Spread Offense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified. 

The Football Defensive Assistant supports the head coach and defensive coordinator by assisting with game planning, organizing practice, coaching a specific position group, and instructing players on the rules, regulations, equipment, and proper techniques of the sport. The assistant organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities and exercises as instructed by the head coach and assists in determining game strategy. The candidate must be a highly effective classroom teacher and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Prior knowledge of a 4-2-5 Defense is a plus.  Teaching Field: Social Studies. Science. SpEd. Must be fully certified.
