Position: Assistant Girls Basketball Coach - Hempstead High School Location: Hempstead High School, Hempstead, TX Reports to: Head Girls Basketball Coach / Athletic Director Position Summary: Support the head coach in developing student‑athletes’ basketball skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The assistant coach will help run practices, provide individual instruction, assist with game planning and scouting, support player academic and personal development, and uphold school and district policies. We are in search of a coach who is certified in 6-12 Math.  Coaching position will be the best fit based on the candidates strengths & our needs.  This could be a boys or a girls coaching position.  This position could also be Head Golf for the right candidate. Standard Flatonia ISD Pay Scale + Stipends per sport + CDL stipend + Summer workouts stipend. Valid Texas Teaching Certificate & a CDL or the ability to obtain are required.
