MS GIRLS ASST VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL AND TRACK/ FIELD CDL REQUIRED TEACHING FIELD - PHYSICAL EDUCATION 

Assistant Girls Basketball/ second sport - (possibly volleyball or track)  Experience:  Some experience as a high school assistant coach, knowledge and background to develop, motivate and inspire young players for them to realize individual and team success. Strong hands-on fundamentals knowledge instructs athletes in skills, strategies necessary to achieve success and the ability to act as a role model for the athletic program and school.  Applicant should possess:   Effective coaching techniques /fundamentals and skills. Instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athlete.  Uphold the dignity, honor and integrity of the coaching profession. South Garland High School is seeking a Varsity Girls Basketball Assistant Coach for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the game and a solid basketball foundation, with the ability to teach fundamentals and support program development. This coach must be committed to motivating, mentoring, and building relationships with all athletes while promoting a positive team culture.
