Position Overview
The Assistant Athletic Trainer supports the delivery of sports medicine services to student-athletes under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer and/or team physician. This role requires classroom teaching [no teaching cert required]
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries and illnesses
Provide first aid and emergency care during practices, games, and events
Design and implement rehabilitation and return-to-play programs for injured athletes
Support daily operation of the athletic training room , including treatment schedules and athlete care
Maintain accurate medical records, injury reports, and treatment documentation
