Assistant Coach - Cross Country and Track & Field | Cleveland State University

Cleveland, Ohio, Assists the head coach, cross country and track & field in organizing the women’s cross country and track and field programs to ensure a quality program and successful team. Assists with day-to-day coaching and training operations of the program in all events, with a focus on cross country and distance. Assists with all aspects of recruiting. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or state recognized equivalent. Prior experience as a competitor and/or coach at the club, college, or international level, or equivalent, including student and/or graduate assistant work. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy. Preferred Qualifcations: Bachelor’s degree preferably in sports management or related field. Experience coaching a Division I cross country and/or track & field program. Strong recruiting background.
