Baltimore, Maryland, Join the UMBC Sports Medicine team and make a meaningful impact on the health, well-being, and performance of Division I student-athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive, patient-centered health care to assigned UMBC athletic teams while working collaboratively with team physicians, athletic trainers, sports performance professionals, and other members of our multidisciplinary health care team. This position plays an integral role in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and return-to-sport while developing strong relationships with student-athletes and supporting their overall health and well-being. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Sports Medicine and Sports Performance department that values professional growth, communication, innovation, and providing an exceptional student-athlete experience.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine from a CAATE accredited institution.
CPR/AED/First Aid certified.
Eligible for Maryland Licensure.
