Aston, Pennsylvania, Responsible for the oversight of social media strategy, including social media management, email marketing, website development, and fan engagement.
• Demonstrate an appreciation for and understanding of the Catholic Franciscan tradition and values of Neumann University.
• Responsible for the related media relations for all varsity teams of the University.
• Oversees the main athletics and all varsity team social media (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) accounts for the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
• Develop creative ideas to drive the department’s digital and social media strategies.
• Collaborate within the department to create video and graphic content for digital and social media use.
• Work with campus colleagues to identify story ideas and produce content to increase engagement.
• Works with the campus and broader community to increase fan engagement and attendance at athletics events.
• Responsible for the design and production of schedule cards/posters; game day programs; recruiting brochures; camp brochures.
• Responsible for the coordination of media days for each season (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
• Responsible for all athletics photography.
• Develops a team of student works and interns to assist in social/digital media and fan engagement efforts.
• Attends all games, events and meetings as scheduled by the Director of Athletics and Recreation.
• Conduct the duties as a member of the Neumann athletics staff in full conformity with NCAA and Middle Atlantic Conference regulations.
• Responsible for knowledge of all conference and association regulations.
• Oversees the annual Athletic Awards Show and prepare a presentation for awards.
• Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Recreation.
• Assist and support all levels of administration in achieving the University’s mission and strategic objectives by bringing an efficient approach to evaluating, mitigating and monitoring risk management assessments.
• Understand and adhere to all applicable safety policies and procedures including safety education, accident prevention and safe work environment.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with social/digital media communication preferred.
A clear NCAA disciplinary record.
Ability to work with students.
Knowledge and experience in sports.
Excellent communication skills.
