Independent Contractor

Pelican Preserve in Ft Myers Fl is seeking an experienced and motivated Instructor tennis ,  to join our active sports program as an Independent Contractor.

We have a strong and growing demand for private lessons, group clinics, and team instruction, providing an excellent opportunity for the right instructor to build a consistent schedule and client base.

Position Highlights

• Independent Contractor position
• 80% lesson revenue split to the instructor
• Numerous opportunities for private lessons
• Several team clinics available
• Minimum commitment of approximately 10 hours per week of clinic instruction
• Additional private lessons available based on availability and performance
• Very active  community with a strong demand for instruction
• Opportunity to grow your schedule and income as your client base develops

Requirements

• Previous  instruction/coaching experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of tennis fundamentals, strategy, and game development
• Professional, personable, and reliable
• Ability to work with players of varying skill levels
• Must carry appropriate liability insurance coverage as an independent contractor
• Must provide proof of insurance prior to beginning instruction
• Must be available for a consistent weekly schedule
