Job Description

Fargo, North Dakota, NDSU Team Makers is seeking a Director of Annual Fund Operations to support and execute annual fund operation efforts that advance membership growth, fundraising initiatives, and supporter engagement. This position is responsible for reserved parking, tailgating, golf tournaments, premium spaces, Green and Gold Fund stewardship and other Team Makers functions. This role is hands-on and execution focused. It requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently while working collaboratively with internal partners. Primary Responsibilities Reserved Tailgating and Parking Oversee the planning, renewal, communication, assignment, and execution process for reserved tailgating lots Coordinate tailgating logistics for game days Serve as the primary point of contact with Fargodome staff on game days Oversee the planning, renewal and execution process of Lot D and Lot R Golf Tournaments Serve as primary contact with each volunteer committee Oversee the planning and execution process of each tournament Provide detailed financial reports back to the Board of Directors Premium Spaces Oversee the planning, renewal and execution process of the Team Makers Tunnel and all basketball premium spaces Serve as the primary point of contact with Fargodome staff on game days for Team Makers Tunnel Green and Gold Fund Implementation and oversight of all stewardship packets and events Ensure follow-through of all benefits for current members Create yearly plans for future solicitations Additional Responsibilities Oversee/coordinate Team Makers single game pre-sale process Oversee renewal process for Team Maker memberships (not tied to tickets) Serve as an ex officio member of the Team Makers Board of Directors, Investment Committee, and Finance Committee. Engage regularly with head coaches, Athletics staff, and internal partners to build trust, understand priorities, and align fundraising strategies with annual fund needs Participate in public relations activities for the athletic department Other duties as assigned Work Schedule Regular weekly schedule with required meeting attendance Limited work from home flexibility may be available Evening and weekend work is required at times to support events and game related activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or related field. One to two years of experience in fundraising, athletics operations, event operations, customer service, membership services, or a related field. Strong writing and editing skills Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required Ability to use membership or event management systems to maintain accurate records, track assignments, support renewals, and prepare reports. Preferred Qualifications Experience in development, fundraising, event operations or athletics?related environments.
