Senior Learning Specialist | Kansas State University/K-State Athletics Inc.

Manhattan, Kansas, K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a Senior Learning Specialist, which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Provide intensive academic support to an assigned group of student-athletes. This includes one-on-one tutoring and skill building, evaluating, and monitoring academic plans for students, assisting students in developing self-advocacy skills and self-awareness, providing appropriate referrals to the Student Access Center. Provide supervision and oversight for the post-graduate interns and oversee their overall training and daily responsibilities. Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to support interns’ holistic professional and personal development. Provide supervision and oversight for the coordination of the Strategic Tutor Program. Assist with the recruitment, hiring and training of strategic tutors; assist with facilitation of payroll and other HR processes. Work in tandem with Tutor Coordinator to determine a comprehensive support schedule for tutorial program. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
