The Pickleball Professional will assist the Director in the management all Pickleball activities; assists in the implementation and administration of the Racquets Committee directive and policies; reports violations of policies and club rules to the Racquets Director. The position will promote an exceptional "Pickleball experience," and provide excellent services and programs for all Members/Guests. 

Position Summary
The Head Pickleball Professional supports the Director of Racquet Sports in delivering a first-class pickleball program. This position is responsible for teaching, organizing events, leading clinics, coordinating league play, and creating an exceptional experience for members and guests.
Primary Responsibilities
⦁    Assist in the daily operation of the pickleball program.
⦁    Teach private lessons and group clinics.
⦁    Organize and direct pickleball tournaments, social events, and special programs.
⦁    Coordinate two league teams and weekly Open Play sessions.
⦁    Help develop programming for beginners, intermediate, advanced players, juniors, and social play.
⦁    Schedule lessons and maintain accurate records.
⦁    Attend staff meetings and assist with seasonal events.
⦁    Ensure courts and teaching equipment are properly set up and maintained.
⦁    Complete incident reports when necessary.
⦁    Promote excellent member service while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
⦁    Communicate operational concerns and member feedback to the Director.
Compensation
⦁     Commissions for organizing and managing:
⦁    Seven (7) total pickleball events November- April
⦁    Two (2) league teams Tuesdays and Wednesdays
⦁    Two (2) weekly Open Play sessions Mondays and Fridays
⦁    Opportunity to earn an additional $10,000–$15,000 through private lessons and group clinics.
⦁    Expected commitment: 8–15 hours per week
Qualifications
⦁    Current pickleball teaching certification preferred.
⦁    Strong playing ability (4.0+ recommended).
⦁    Previous teaching and coaching experience preferred.
⦁    Country club or hospitality experience is a plus.
⦁    Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Work Environment
This position is performed primarily outdoors and requires working in varying weather conditions. The ability to demonstrate pickleball skills, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds is required.
Schedule
Seasonal position from October/November through April/May. Hours vary based on club programming and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
