Ogden, Utah, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Requisition Number: S02415P Position Category: Staff Hours Per Week: 33 Months Per Year: 12 Alternate Work Schedule: Pay Grade: E31 Salary: FLSA: Exempt Job Summary/Basic Function: Lead, Direct, and Implement a comprehensive training program for assigned sports. Collaborate with sports coaches to meet the needs and vision of assigned teams. As needed, assist with the training of 16 NCAA Division 1 teams. Assist in the day to day and long-term operation of the strength and conditioning facilities in the stadium and fieldhouse. Collaborate with Strength and Conditioning Coaches to ensure best practices are being met and implemented. Communicate with Athletic Training and other departments. Required Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree 2 years in Collegiate Strength and Conditioning CSCS or SCCC Certification CPR / AED and First Aid Certified Experience with effective strength and conditioning programming Preferred Qualifications: Approved: Masters Degree Experience working with Male and Female Athletes and Teams. Experience working with Basketball Athletes and Teams Experience working with Soccer Athletes and Teams. Experience working with Tennis Athletes and Teams Ability to communicate effectively with both large and small groups. Strong interpersonal communication abilities with fellow strength and conditioning coaches and sports coaches Background Check?
