Assistant Coach's Women's Softball | Boston College

Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Assistant Coach's Women's Softball Reporting to the head women's softball coach, the assistant women's softball coach will help provide leadership and oversight for all aspects of a competitive program. This includes; -Strong ability to assist in providing overall leadership of the women's softball program -Proven recruiter and evaluator at Division I, II or III level -Ability to foster a strong and positive culture within the program -Maintain high level of academics -Assist with the management of coaching, team practices, competitions, road travel, scheduling, workouts, academics, and life-skills -Assist in managing the program budget and team travel -Ensure compliance with all department policies and guidelines -Comply with all applicable Boston College, ACC, and NCAA rules, guidelines, and policies -Represent themselves in a manner consistent with positive representation of Boston College -Opportunity within University guidelines to assist in the management, hosting, and executing softball camps and clinics at Boston College Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $67,350 to $84,200; salary commensurate with relevant experience. -A Bachelor's Degree is required -Proven softball coaching experience -Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills -Ability to work effectively with college student athletes, athletic staff, University personnel and Alumni -Proficient computer skills Preferred -Two plus years successful coaching experience preferably at a collegiate level or club level Salary commensurate with relevant experience.
