Edwardsville, Illinois, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is seeking highly motivated applicants for a Graduate Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will assist in all areas of operation for the Women’s Volleyball program. Reports to the Head coach and Director of Athletics and must subscribe to the SIUE Principles Governing Athletics.   Job duties include: Support goals and objectives of the Athletics Program. Assist the Head Coach with organization of team equipment, practices, recruitment, team travel, fund raising, and any other area of responsibility as directed by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics. Comply with University, Conference, and NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel. Support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. Additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree Acceptance into SIUE Graduate School; must maintain a 6-12 hour course load per semester Evidence of sound organizational skills and strong work ethic Ability to interact effectively with student-athletes, colleagues, and the public Demonstrated strong and effective communication and computer skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous collegiate volleyball playing experience and desire to progress as a collegiate volleyball coach SUBMIT Letter of Application, Resumé, Transcript, and References to: Head Volleyball Coach Kendall Paulus via email at kpaulus@siue.edu Includes $1,200 monthly stipend and tuition waiver. 10-month initial appointment beginning August 3, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
