Orlando, Florida, The Academy of Central Florida is seeking a driven, experienced, and highly connected Head Tennis Coach to lead and grow our Boys and Girls Tennis Program. This position is designed for a program builder who can develop high-level players, create a competitive training culture, and actively recruit student-athletes from Florida, across the United States, and internationally. The ability to recruit is a major requirement of this position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead all aspects of the Boys and Girls Tennis Program. Design and conduct high-performance daily training sessions. Develop players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally. Create individualized player development plans. Actively recruit qualified student-athletes domestically and internationally. Help grow program enrollment and strengthen the Academy’s tennis pipeline. Develop strategic tournament and competition schedules. Assist players with NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA college recruitment and placement. Build and maintain relationships with college tennis coaches. Establish a culture of discipline, accountability, competitiveness, and professionalism. Collaborate with Academy leadership, academics, admissions, and performance staff. The ideal candidate must be comfortable: Recruiting players Communicating with prospective families Building relationships with clubs and coaches Growing program enrollment Developing athletes for collegiate opportunities Representing The Academy of Central Florida at the highest professional standard REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong tennis coaching and player development experience. Proven ability to lead and organize a competitive program. Demonstrated ability and willingness to recruit student-athletes. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work with domestic and international athletes and families. Strong organizational, leadership, and administrative skills. Ability to travel for recruiting, competition, and program needs. Ability to pass all required background screening and youth-safety requirements. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preference may be given to candidates with: Collegiate tennis coaching experience High-performance academy experience NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, ITF, ATP, or WTA background Established recruiting relationships College placement experience USTA, PTR, or RSPA credentials International recruiting experience Experience building or growing a tennis program This position requires to be able to recruit. Commissions package could potentially double or triple your salary.
