Full-Time Tennis/Racquets Professional

River Run Country Club – Davidson, North Carolina

River Run Country Club is seeking an accomplished, energetic, and team-oriented Tennis Professional to join one of the premier racquet sports facilities in the Charlotte region. We are looking for an elite player and outstanding instructor who is passionate about developing players, creating exceptional member experiences, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional who wants to build a long-term career while helping shape one of the premier racquet sports programs in the Southeast.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach beginner and intermediate ladies' and men's tennis clinics.
• Provide private and semi-private instruction for juniors and adults.
• Assist in the Junior Tennis Academy and player development programs.
• Organize and direct junior tournaments and competitive events.
• Lead Weekend Cardio Tennis and specialty programming.
• Organize and participate in member socials, mixers, leagues, and club events.
• Teach beginner and intermediate pickleball clinics.
• Work collaboratively with the Racquet Sports team to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications

• Current USPTA or PTR Professional Certification required.
• NCAA Division I collegiate playing experience, ATP/WTA professional playing experience, or equivalent elite-level competitive background strongly preferred.
• High-level playing ability with the capacity to demonstrate advanced techniques and tactics.
• Experience teaching juniors and adults of all ability levels.
• Pickleball teaching experience or willingness to become certified.
• Outstanding communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual earning potential of $50,000-$80,000+, based on experience, lesson volume, programming, and performance.
